What’s up, guys! The second article of this column. Well, I choose Hua Chenyu once more. Certainly, if I make mistakes, I hope you could point out.
This song is named, “bullfight”.
OK, let’s go!
As he said, “this song I restored the scene of the bullfight, because I saw the bullfighting in person at the scene.” And what occurs to him is that he doesn’t think it’s very exciting to see the bullfight as an audience, but very conflicting. The bullfighter and the bull. If one wins, the other will face death. This is a truly sad thing. The song is expressing that this man and the bull are both warriors, and these two lives are equal at this time.
Yeah, he gives us a new angle to the bullfighting, a really absurd carnival. He unfolds what is actually happening there, and how agonizing the situation is. And both for the man and for the bull, they are both warriors trying to win this game, which is put together by other people.
And as for me, the best part is as follows.
Pay tribute to and respect all lives regardless of stature.
It is really a question worth pondering. Bullfight is such a shame. A shame on all of us. As the audience, it seems that we are enjoyable to this game, which is based on the death of one in two living lives. They should have deserved respect. However, we show nothing, even elementary respect. It seems as if we are indifferent to the fact that doesn’t occur to us, even though it’s the cruel, inhuman and insane stuff.
Anyway, we should give mature consideration to all aspects of this farce that reveals the ugliness of humanity, personally.
