冠词就好像是名词的帽子，与名词形影不离。在句子里不能单独使用。

考点一：不定冠词
1. 不定冠词有a,an. 它们用于单数可数名词前，表示泛指，侧重说明“性质、种类”，
弱弱地含有“一”的意思，但不强调数量。
2. 中考重难点：a/an的使用辨析
2.1 语法上如此讲，元音前用an, 辅音前用a。可是，元音20个，辅音28个，
太多学生傻傻搞不懂。为了快速解题，我们想到了如下更简明的a/an选择
方案。
2.2 元音字母前用an.
如： an egg , an umbrella, an army一支军队。
记住如下例外：一所寻常的有用的欧洲大学（one/ usual/ useful/ European
/university）
如：an one-eyed man 一个独眼的男人； a useful tool一个有用的工具
2.3 辅音字母前用a.
如：a boy一个男孩； a computer一个电脑； a book一本书
记住如下例外：honor/ honest/ hour 荣誉诚实一小时
2.4 字母前用an的有：a/e/f/h/i/l/m/n/o/r/s/x(12个)；其余24个字母前用a.
如：There is ____ “l” and two “t” in the word “letter”.

考点二：定冠词
1. 表示特指，或谈话双方都知道的人或物时，用定冠词the。
Thank you for the bananas.
The girl next to me in the photo is my cousin.
2. 用于形容词最高级前。
The boy is the tallest student in his school.
3. 用于世界上独一无二的事物。
the sun, the earth, the moon
4. 用于西洋乐器前。
the piano, the violin, the guitar
5. 用于姓氏复数前，表示“夫妇俩”或“一家人”。
The Smiths are leaving for Beijing tomorrow.
6. 用于形容词前，表示“一类人”。
We should be kind to the old.
7. 用于发明物的前面。
Who invented the airplane?
8. 用于序数词前。
My parents gave me a gift for the eighteenth birthday.
9. 用于表示时间单位的名词前。
The workers are paid by the day. 这些工人是按天付酬的。
10. 用于有介词短语或定语从句修饰的名词前。

考点三：零冠词
1. 用于复数名词前，表示“泛指”。
The girl is afraid of dogs.
2. 用于球类运动、游戏前。
Play basketball/ football , play chess/ bridge
3. 用于抽象名词前。
Milk is good for your body.
4. 用在头衔或职务前。
We made him monitor last week.
5. 用在专有名词前。
Beijing Opera, Nanjing Road
6. 用在日期、季节、节日及星期前。
May 12th, in summer, in Teachers’ Day, on Monday
7. 用于学科、一日三餐等名词前。
We all like science .
They went to school without breakfast.
8. 可数名词前有 this,my,your,whose,some,any,no,each,every等不定代词修饰时。
I left my homework at home this morning.
9. 在某些固定词组中，名词前也常不用冠词。
by train ; day and night；in trouble: on time; face to face; in bed;
at noon/ night; at first/last; on show/ duty/ business.
