UPS电源的选择与使用认识UPS电源 UPS的全称是Uninterruptible Power System，即不间断电源。UPS是一种以逆变器为主要元件、稳压稳频输出的计算机电源保护设备。它可以解决现有电力的断电、低电压、高电压、突波、杂讯等现象，使我们的计算机系统和网络运行更加稳定安全。 UPS电源的作用 UPS究竟能为校园网络做些什么呢？作为计算机外设之一，特别是校园网络中的保护设备，它主要起到三个作用：一是提供后备电源，防止突然断电造成的损害，如一些重要数据的丢失等；二是消除“污染”，改善电源质量，对电源系统中的浪涌、噪声、电压下降等现象它都能改进，使计算机中的电子部件免受摧毁性损坏；三是对整个数据通道进行保护，提高校园网络的可用性。 UPS电源的选择 目前，可供学校选择的UPS电源品种很多，我们一般所指的UPS电源大都为静态变换式，它可分为：后备式、在线式、在线互动式三大类。但是在选购时要注意以下问题： 1.不要过分追求对UPS常规电性能指标的要求，诸如转换时间、电压和频率稳定精度、波形失真度等。应该重视对UPS输出能力和可靠性的考察。 2.选定适合自己的UPS。不同的用户对UPS类型的需求也是不同的，个人及家庭用户可以考虑后备式型UPS电源，它价格低廉，外形轻巧，是个人电脑的理想伙伴。而学校用户可以选购后备式UPS电源，也可考虑在线式UPS电源或线上互动式UPS电源。在选购时要确定UPS的容量，针对学校机房、工作站等场地一般有1kVA至16kVA等多种容量。学校在选购UPS电源时应针对学校使用电脑的台数，向商家询问适合本学校的UPS容量。目前国内常见的 UPS品牌有APC、山特、梅兰日兰、实达、华为等。 使用中的注意事项 UPS电源在使用时必须遵守其操作规程，应注意以下问题： 1.UPS电源要防止阳光直射，要留有足够的通风空间，同时，禁止在UPS输出端口接带有感性的负载。 2.使用UPS电源时，应务必遵守产品说明书中的有关规定，保证所接的火线、零线、地线符合要求，用户不得随意改变其相互的顺序。 3.严格按照正确的开机、关机顺序进行操作。避免因负载突然加载或突然减载时，UPS电源的电压输出波动大，而使UPS电源无法正常工作。 4.严禁频繁地关闭和开启UPS电源。一般要求在关闭UPS电源后，至少等待6秒钟后才能开启UPS电源，否则，UPS电源可能进入“启动失败”的状态，即UPS电源进入既无市电输出，又无逆变输出的状态。
