铀富集铀富集concentration of uraniumyoU fuJ}铀富集(eoneentration of uranium)从低浓度铀的浸出液制备铀化学浓缩物(黄饼)的抽提取过程。铀矿石一般含铀0.1%~0.2%,浸出矿浆经液固分离、洗涤后,每升溶液中约只含铀几百毫克,因而必须经过富集处理。为避免长途运输大量铀矿石,一般矿山都就近建立富集工厂,初步把铀富集成化学浓缩物,再运往提纯工厂提纯。富集方法主要有离子交换法提取抽、溶剂萃取法提抽和沉淀法。20世纪40年代大多采用沉淀法,常用苛性钠溶液从铀的碱浸出溶液中沉淀重铀酸钠,其反应为:ZNa‘UOZ(CO3)3+6NaOH;=二二全 NaZUZO7十6NaZCO3+3HZO也可用石灰乳从铀的酸浸出液中分两步沉淀出粗铀浓缩物。现在沉淀法已大多被离子交换法提铀和溶剂萃取法提铀所替代。与沉淀法相比,离子交换法提铀和溶剂萃取法提铀的富集倍数大,产物的纯度高。除少数矿山的富集工厂直接生产核纯产品外,大多数工厂只生产化学浓缩物。近年来,低品位铀矿石大多采用就地浸出和堆浸,产出的浸出液为清液,能采用简易可移动式装置进行沉淀或离子交换生产化学浓缩物,这是经济而有效地回收铀的重要途径之一。
