石田退三石田退三[いしだたいぞう] (1888~1979) 1888年爱知县生。1907年滋贺县立第一中学校(现・彦根东高校)毕业。 京都河瀬家具商店、东京市桥商店做学徒,19在名古屋的纤维问屋・服部商店做勤务。受远房表兄儿玉一造(后来的东棉创始人)的推荐进入丰田纺织,作为丰田常驻上海代表,从事对中国和东南亚的纺织品出口,因为工作出色,得到丰田创始人丰田佐吉的知遇之恩,1927年回日本,在丰田纺织从审计员做到总管,1941年任丰田自动织布机常务理事,战后1945年任专务,在丰田从织布机生产到汽车生产的转型中,开始持反对态度,但后来发挥了极为重要的作用,所以被称为丰田“中兴之祖”。1948年就任丰田纺织社长,解决了严重的劳资纠纷。1950年经营危机中的汽车业务并任丰田汽车社长,在日本汽车产业界独树一帜,为丰田后来的发展打下极为坚实的基础。1961年从会长位置上退休,任资深顾问,1979年逝世。享年90 岁。著有自传《商魂八十年》。
